Natural Deathcare - Practical Body Care Workshop

You’re warmly invited to join Lauren and Bec for a pilot workshop on natural deathcare – practical body care.

In a safe and supported environment, this workshop aims to help you learn practical considerations for post-death body care and techniques for washing the body and shrouding. We will also talk about the legal aspects of natural deathcare and what is currently available locally.

In small groups, you will be invited wash and oil (hands and feet) and shroud a group member if you feel comfortable, and also to have the experience yourself if you choose. Participation in the practical session is totally optional and you will be encouraged to listen to your needs in the moment.

There will be space for connection, stories and a shared lunch afterwards.

This is a donation based workshop with 100% of donations going towards a community cold plate.
