The Grief Group

The Grief Group will provide support to those who have been bereaved. This will be facilitated by a skilled and experienced professional counsellor. Our first six week group, commences Monday 3 March 2025 in Uralla NSW.

About the Group
Facilitated by a qualified counsellor, The Grief Group will integrate evidence-based interventions and tools and the personal experiences of the group, to help normalise the unique journey of bereavement, navigate emotional distress, reduce isolation and build resilience.

Our group program draws upon the emotional benefits of peer support to help mitigate the stigma that can be associated with grief, create community and connections, while recognising each person's journey is unique.

The purpose of this group is to support participants who have lost a significant person by creating a safe space to connect with others, share personal experiences and learn ways to cope in their bereavement journey.
